Penny's CHA report!
How fun!
Where do I start!!
There was so much to see and DO!
Scrapbook celebrity, make and takes, new product to see...
I think I could be there a week and not see it all!
We are having a HUGE sale VERY soon to make room for ALL the new products!
Beth and Kelly got SO much of the new products for YOU!
Here is my report of the event!!
I am VERY excited, of course, about the new Glitz Design products!
"Basic" is fun and colorful!
And their stickers with the rhinestones inside! Brilliant!
And they have some great new LARGER roller doodles! FUN!
Pink Paislee... they were my personal favorite... the one I got to choose...
Coming in October, Pixee Stix... little pixies of glitter!! Too cute to resist!
In the meantime, the alphabet stickers I can't WAIT to get my hands on!
And I am SO excited about the new Vintage Moon-a new release! LOVE this for fall!
They have some really fun die cut papers too! I would have gotten all the old and new if I could!
And I hope we add the stamps and rub ons to the next order!
Crate Paper... it was on my list, and Ashleigh loved it so much too, she requested it as her pick! Your gonna LOVE these new papers and embellishments!
Kaiser-wood embellishements (sounds weird, but I promise, it isn't!) rhinestones, paper, flowers, chipboard... and all with prices we can all live with! YAY Kaiser!
Tim Holtz... he always has such fun new products! Always distressed looking-industrial even, and all very usable! (Pic. especially for you Marion!!)
Prima... they have some GREAT new flowers, papers, and corragated cardboard pre-cut shapes! Yum!!
7 Gypsies... they have these great inked stamps... not the flip and stamp like now, but a little tower of stamps with three designs in the stack... and the red and flocked paper-yum!
Heidi Swapp... yes, this is Penny, not Candi! :) I LOVE their new boy line and the Christmas with the pink in it! LOVE it! The new transparencies are awesome too! Go Heidi!
American Crafts... the new puffy letters... the thickers... the new bright colored papers... Oh how I love American Crafts! And their PENS!!! Oh their pens!! Your gonna love 'em!
The Paper Element... OK, so I design for them! But I love their new lines! VERY usable! Very nice! (The circles in the corners show the other side of the paper-this paper is THICK and double sided!)
Making Memories... I SO want a little Slice! And the new line-Greenhouse. Soothing greens... new journaling notebook... and of COURSE I am STILL in love with all their tiny alphas!!
Teresa Collins... I'll admit it. I like some of her stuff, but I didn't go there with her product being my favorite. But WOW she has some great stuff! All our recipe book makers-AWESOME new paper line! Very modern and fun! And the new mini's that even have page protectors in the smaller sizes-so they are protected mini's! Might even get me to do one! The papers are great! Your love them! I promise!
KI Memories... their new "sheers" are SO bright and usable! I love the bold new designs! Die cut meets transparency, meets printed paper! They are SO bold and fun!
Oh, I know there are more... but it is so hard to keep it straight in my head!
Here is a little slide show to show the highlights! Enjoy!

Paper Trunk Birthday Celebration!
Happy Birthday Paper Trunk! Though many of the prizes have been given out, there are many
fun ideas and "green" tips!
Come by and say "Hello"!
I even contributed in the fun with a couple of "green" tips! (I was their April Guest Designer!)
Paper Trunk uses recycled packaging and prints many of their collects on recycled paper!
Scrapbooking can be made just a little bit greener if you do your part:
-Use a reusable shopping bag (Scrapaganza has them available with our logo!!) when shopping for supplies!
-Look for products that use recycled papers-there is even a cardstock company that is using windpower in production!
-Save those scraps!! Have draws dedicated to organize your scrap papers by color! There are SO many things you can do with scraps! Mosaics, punched shaped, strips and borders... if several choices of the same color are available together, they might just spur some creativity!
-Use your packaging in your LO's! There are a TON of ideas available online for using your packaging! Use the plastic cover over embellishment for a shadow box... or cut out a fun design or word from the packaging... the options are endless!
-Look around your house! You might remember, Design Diva Candi made flowers out of the TP roll... use old material for flowers, or strips for borders or mats... use washers, paperclip or pins as embellishment... Use junk mail to highlight a favorite thing...
The ideas are endless!

PSL-OUTSIDE!
Imagine Kelly's surprise when she finds out that she, the paper crafter, is filming her segment of layouts and other paper projects, outside... in the wind... on the top of a hill...
Let's just say, she was VERY glad to be borrowing KWQC's roll of scotch tape!
That's right, we taped EVERYTHING down! :)
Regardless, Kelly performed near flawlessly, and kept her usual cool!
You can click here, and click on "Paula Sands Live on July 1st, 2008"!
Enjoy!
See Kelly up there on the top right? :)
Yep, right above the road!
No Hands! No Hands! :)
Ready to start...
Paula appreciating Candi's AWESOME window creation! I was going to give you a picture, but ya know what, your gonna have to come visit us to see this in person!! VERY cool!!
Talkin' shop...
Doin' a vinyl rub-on...
Thanks Paula (and Demond)!! We love to come to PSL LIVE! Even outside! :)
And thank you Katie, for being our biggest fan!! Much appreciated!

Scrap -N-Art Ezine
Check out ALL the inspiration in this Scrap -n- Art download!!!
Subscribing is free! All you have to do is "click", wait, and then you have a 100 page PDF filled with full color, page after page, of inspiration!!
And the products used are up-to-date current, as the layouts were only submitted a couple months prior to the publication, unlike paper magazines, which are working with product/submissions from 6 months ago... though we love our paper magazines too, this is a great alternative! When working on a "lift" of a ezine page, just keep it up on your computer as you work, or print out that one page...
And don't miss me, Penny, on page 67!! :)
Check it out! Click here!
