Dear friends;

OPERATION: Cheerful Heart

is a way for all of us to share strength and courage with our little friend Reese Ladwig, daughter of Ryan and Candi Ladwig. (The family used to live in the Quad Cities and Candi is a scrapbooker, teacher, designer and friend to many of us.)

Reese has been very sick the past couple of weeks and was recently transported from Des Moines, IA to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, for diagnosis and treatment. She’s the sweetest little girl and we would like to send some positive thoughts to her and her family. This has been a very challenging time for them and we know, with your help, we can lift their spirits.

Here’s where we need your help!

She loves all things girly. Butterflies, hearts, sun, rainbows, tutus, princess crowns… anything you can think of that a little girl would like, that’s Reese!

If you could assist us in creating some fun little momentos and messages... “scraps of love” as we like to think of them, that would be AWESOME!

We will be collecting small {4” or less in diameter} artistic creations this week. From charms to ATC cards, stamped ribbons to shiny chipboard shapes… that’s what we need. Any message or child’s poem, etc., you’d like to share would be great. We will be hanging these little masterpieces from clips and we know the family will enjoy reading and looking at these beautiful little pieces or art! PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU SIGN YOUR WORK, TOO! They will enjoy seeing who the creations came from!
